We’re proud to announce that Coach Tyrese Graham has officially launched his Power Mentoring Programme at Firth Park Academy — another major step forward in our mission to raise standards and aspirations in schools across the UK.

Over the next few months, Tyrese will be working closely with a select group of Year 11 students, focusing on four key pillars that sit at the heart of everything we do at Dreams 2 Reality: Mindset, Motivation, Mental Health, and Academic Performance.

Tyrese’s journey makes him the perfect person to lead this work. Trained and mentored by Cameron Parker, Tyrese combines lived experience with professional excellence. He knows how to build instant trust with students, helping them move from resistance to responsibility — from “I can’t” to “I will.”

This isn’t just about talking; it’s about measurable impact. Each session is designed to build consistency, confidence, and character in students who need it most. From one-to-one mentoring to small-group workshops, the programme gives students the tools to take ownership of their future, improve behaviour, boost attendance, and build momentum towards their GCSEs.

As part of the wider Power Programme, this model of long-term mentoring allows us to go deeper — not just inspiring students for an hour, but walking alongside them as they apply lessons week after week. It’s about progress you can see, feel, and measure.

The early feedback has been exceptional. Staff have commented on the positive shift in attitude already visible in the first sessions. One teacher described it perfectly:

“Tyrese has a rare ability to connect with students on their level while still holding them accountable. You can see the difference in how they speak about school, about their goals, even about themselves.”

This is what Dreams 2 Reality is all about — equipping students with the mindset and motivation to achieve more, not just in exams, but in life.

We can’t wait to see the growth that unfolds over the coming months at Firth Park.

More time = more impact.
That’s the Power Mentoring difference.
