Coach and Mentor for Schools Ifrah Farooq

Here’s a few words from Ifrah Farooq –

“I’m Ifrah Farooq and I’m a Civil Servant currently on the Fast Stream, the government’s graduate programme. I was the first in my family to go to University and graduated from the University of Bristol with a first-class degree. I was the first Muslim woman of colour to lead my Student’s Union and since then have used that platform to encourage others to run in elections and apply for positions of leadership. Education was the key to social mobility for me and I hope to inspire young people to be academically ambitious and courageous in pursuing their career goals.”
